Cost is as follows:
Monday through Friday
$160.00 per boat with a four person minium. Each person after the forth will cost an additional $40.00.
Saturday and Sunday
$200.00 per boat with a five person minium. Each person after the fifth will cost an additional $40.00.

Gear rental is $5.00

Normal tip for trip and cleaning fish is $20.00.

Boats seat 6 to 8 people and are equipped with radios for safety. Pole rental is availible for $5.00, (Pole rental is free at Erendira Sportfishing), hooks for $1.00 per rig and 8oz. weights for $1.50. Bait, one day Mexican fishing liicense, and Fish Cleaning are part of the boat cost. Average tip to the skipper is $5.00 per person. Boats leave harbor at 6:30am to 7:00am and return around 3:00pm. Please advise Casto's Fishing Place as much as one to two weeks in advance of your intentions to avoid disappointment, this is very true duing the summer weekends. To save your spot at Coyote Cal's Mexico Hostels, book your reservation now!

Of course there is also great shore fishing available. For $5.00 we can supply you with an official Baja fishing kit. (A Tecate beer can wrapped with fishing line, hook and spark plug.) If you love to eat fish, but would rather not catch them you can always go to Castro's Fishing Place at about 10am and barter for your fish. Fresh crab claws & sea urchin are also available for $5.00/kilo. The fishermen will clean and fillet it for you. All that's left for you to do is bring it on home and toss it on the BBQ and enjoy it! What ever is left can be stored in our chest freezer.
